GATHERINGS & MEETINGS
During Spring Training and at the start of the regular season, we host a number of opportunities for family members to meet and socialize, as well as discuss game ticket procedures; availability and location of family rooms; childcare options; and philanthropy and fundraising objectives.
Family Events
We are committed to building a family atmosphere through organized events for our Family Program that are designed for our families to build community with each other, get to know San Francisco and enjoy time together within and outside of the ballpark.
CHILDCARE SERVICES
We partner with Kiddie Corp. to provide complimentary childcare for children ages 6 months to 12 years at Oracle Park for all home games.
FAMILY ROOMS
Giants spouses, significant others, children and designated helpers may use the Lori Gardner Family Room, located directly across from the Giants clubhouse at Oracle Park. The Family Room is always stocked with snacks and beverages, contains a private bathroom, and a nursing area for new moms
FAMILIES ON THE ROAD
To make travel in road cities safer and more convenient for our families, the Giants offer both a pregame and postgame family bus between the hotel and ballpark for each game on the road. Additionally, a Giants staff member will be available to escort our families to and from the bus before and after each game.
PHILANTHROPY STRATEGY & SUPPORT
We are here to support the philanthropic work that our players and their families are already doing in their respective communities, as well as serving as a resource for those players and families looking to get involved in San Francisco and the Bay Area communities.
FAMILY AUCTION
The Family Auction is an engaging event where Giants significant others assemble “baskets of their partner’s favorite things” to raise funds in support of various community programs including Junior Giants, George Mark Children’s House, and Homeless Prenatal Program.
RESOURCES FOR FAMILIES
Our Family Program staff provides ongoing support as needed throughout the season to help your family settle into the Bay Area including, but not limited to, travel communication, childcare liaisons, philanthropic support and extracurricular recommendations.
COMMUNICATION
Our Family Program staff provides regular communication to our families through email, a communication app, in-person meetings and texts.
